Since 2019, The Capital has hosted some of New Orleans’ most memorable weddings and celebrations. In 2026, we begin a new chapter at 313 Carondelet Street, inside the historic Hibernia Bank building.
Everything you know us for is coming with us: our in-house culinary team, experienced event staff, exceptional service, and the attention to detail that has defined The Capital from the beginning. Now, it all comes together in a remarkable new setting.

Meet the Family
Two sisters and a daughter, united by a love of hospitality.
Michele has planned New Orleans weddings since 2001. Brittani grew up in the wedding industry and brings experience in both event planning and hotel management, with an eye for every detail. Michele’s sister, Blakley, is our executive chef—a veteran of the kitchen at Marcello’s on St. Charles and the owner of Marcello’s in Covington. Together with her culinary team, she prepares every plate on site.
